Scotland

Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond is the largest loch in Scotland by surface area and is easily accessible as you head from the central part of Scotland towards the Highlands.

The Highlands

The Highlands are rugged and beautiful with a wide variety of sights to see as you head towards the Isle of Skye. We were fortunate as well to be able to watch some Highland Games on the grounds of Glamis Castle.

Castles & Lighthouses

Kilchurn Castle ruins were accessible via a walk through a field and had amazing views of the loch beyond it.

Eileen Donal Castle is located on the Isle of Skye and is a beautiful property that you can tour the interior of. It has that true castle feel as if you stepped back in time.

Neist Point Lighthouse is set upon a cliff that towers above the sea. It’s quite a long walk, but worth every step and the many steps you have to climb on your way back up.

Isle of Skye

The Isle of Skye is a magical place to visit. The roads are rugged and one lane, but the views are spectacular. Every turn is an experience.

Plockton Harbor

Plockton is a quaint little Scottish town. We took a seal tour from the harbor and visited some of the locals.
