Sushi Time – Dallas, Texas

We arrived in Dallas one afternoon after spending a few days in Amarillo. We really wanted some sushi so we searched the GPS for the closest sushi places to Dallas Love-Field.  Sushi Time came up so we decided to give it a try.

This time we decided to pick 2 rolls for each of us and one to share. For TJ, we got a side of fried rice. They have a special where you get 2 rolls for $10. One option is two get to “standard” rolls and another option is to get a “standard roll” and a “premium roll.” The second option is definitely the best of the two.

I had the Happy Roll, which included boiled shrimp, crab, avocado and the whole roll fried. It was topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. I really liked this roll. It was nice and warm and fresh. My second roll was the salmon roll. It was not as warm and fresh as the Happy Roll, but was also very good.

The restaurant is small and the servers are very friendly. The service was excellent overall. It was also very clean and well-kept.

I probably will not come back to Sushi Time, but I would recommend it if you’re looking for fresh and reasonably priced sushi.

I went with the 2 for $10 special as well, but got the Tuna Roll and Cajun Roll. I also ordered a cucumber roll that they had on special as well. These two rolls were good, but they were not as warm and fresh as the Happy Roll that Val ordered. That was our favorite roll overall.

The service was great and the restaurant was clean. I would recommend for sushi if you’re around the airport area and looking for a place to eat, but I probably would not be back as I know there are places that I can get sushi that’s warm and even more fresh, although you could tell the ingredients here were very fresh.
