Mineola, Texas is known for it’s antique stores and it’s quaint downtown style. It also happens to have an Amtrak station, which can get you to Dallas in about two and a half hours. You can drive it in an hour and a half, but the train is so much more fun – right?

We visited Mineola for the antique stores to find a new dresser for our bedroom. We loved Between Friends Antiques & Fudge for two reasons.

Reason 1: The Fudge – Just look at it:

Peanut Butter & Chocolate

Peanut Butter

Died & Gone to Heaven (Cheesecake and Carmel Flavor)

Reason 2: We found a great dresser. It’s antique white with a mirror.

Between Friends is a larger store than many of the others in the downtown area and the fact that they have excellent fudge makes this a definite stop should you be visiting the Lake Fork area or even Tyler.
