One of our favorite places to visit in Vegas is the Conservatory in the Bellagio. Located just by the hotel lobby, the Conservatory is an amazing garden and the casino always has it decorated in a theme depending on the current season or holiday. Christmas is one of the best times to visit, as they have a huge Christmas tree, a million poinsettias and just about everything is made from flowers of some sort. Another great thing about the Conservatory is that it’s one of the many free things you can do in Vegas and it’s great to bring the kids to.

One note about kids and the Bellagio – at one point in time, the hotel was owned by Steve Wynn and kids and especially kids in strollers were not allowed in the hotel unless they were staying there. This is not the case today. We parked valet and went into the casino with our two year old and nobody said anything. Actually, there were a lot of kids there.

To find the Conservatory, park at valet in the front of the hotel, just left of the fountains. You can park in the right entrance by the shops, but then you have to walk through the casino quite a bit to get to it. From here, you will be in the lobby. Check out the gardens behind the front desk, check out the glass flower garden on the lobby ceiling by Dale Chihuly and then walk straight through the lobby to the Conservatory. You can’t miss it and don’t forget to bring your camera.

Here are a few shots from this year’s décor.
